Company promises mid-range and premium models with good performance, modern design and competitive prices
Chinese manufacturer Vivo, one of the largest technology companies in the world, is about to officially debut on Brazilian market through its new brand Jovi. The entry strategy follows the model adopted by Asian competitors such as Xiaomi, Realme and OPPO: offer mid-range cell phones with advanced technical specifications, good value for money and attractive design, according to the CanalTech website.
The expectation is that the line arrive in Brazil this semester, with the Vivo V50 model leading the launches. Below, discover the eight main smartphones of the brand that can be sold in the country.
Vivo V50 and V50 Lite 5G: outstanding performance and battery
The V50 and V50 Lite models arrive with processors Snapdragon 7 Gen3, up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The 6.000 mAh battery guarantees long autonomy, with charging of up to 90 W in the Lite model. These are options aimed at demanding users looking for energy efficiency and solid performance.

Vivo Y100 5G: balance between price and connectivity
The Y100 5G model offers an AMOLED screen, MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor and 5.000 mAh battery with 44W fast recharge. Positioned as an entry-level option with 5G support, it is ideal for those looking for modern connectivity without compromising their budget.
Vivo Y29 and Y39: resistance and durability as differentiators
Aimed at the public looking for robustness, the models Y29 and Y39 have IP64 certification, impact resistance and good technical configurations. The Y39 has Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and 6.500 mAh battery, while the Y29 features the Dimensity 6300 chip and a 5.500 mAh battery.
Vivo X200, X200 Pro and X200 Ultra: premium line with 200 MP camera
The X200 series represents the Vivo's bet on the premium segment. With Snapdragon 8 Elite processors, up to 1TB of storage and high-performance cameras — including a 200MP sensor with optical zoom — the models aim directly on the top of the line from competitors Samsung and Apple.
Strategic expansion focused on the Brazilian consumer
Jovi's arrival in Brazil should prioritize intermediate models, with competitive prices and local technical assistance. If the company repeat the success of your fellow countrywomen, can become one of the great references in the national market.
Welcome
Hopefully the price is good for everyone!
Negative, since half of everything you buy is taxed, unless the company sells it so as not to make a profit since Brazil's vampire system doesn't let anything be cheap.
I bought an Infinix Smart 8 pro 256GB at Carrefour Contagem. It's very good, but since it's new in Brazil, there are no spare parts available at the moment, since it's assembled here by Positivo. The problem with these new releases is that it takes two to three years to send parts for maintenance of these new devices.
Come with quality and price!
