The industrial boilermaker develops and manufactures parts based on complex designs. Cuts, drills, assembles and mechanically joins structural steel. Cuts materials using the oxyfuel gas cutting process. Cuts materials using hand tools, manipulates steel through grinding machines, performs general grinding operations. Mechanically assembles and joins sheet, tube and steel sections. Forms and molds metal sheets using manual or motorized machines. Performs heat treatment processes on metals, prepares and fixes workpieces with welding.
