American Company Turns Ford Vehicle Into Electric Car. The Project Indicates a Trend for the Coming Years
An innovative company based in California recently published stunning images online of a bold Ford Bronco project that promises to revolutionize the way we view classic vehicle conversions.
EV Zero Labs, specializing in automotive electrification technologies, presented a highly advanced platform capable of transforming traditional gasoline or diesel cars into fully electric vehicles with a modern look — all in an astonishing turnaround time of just 24 hours.
EV Zero Labs is a design, technology, and engineering company located in Southern California. It aims to innovate in the market by adapting classic cars to become electric vehicles, eliminating carbon emissions and keeping them in motion for the coming decades.

The company uses a technique called “retrobução,” which transforms gasoline or diesel-powered cars into energy-powered vehicles.

Market Opportunity: What Will Happen to Classic Cars When Gasoline-Powered Vehicles Are Banned?
The technique is very welcome, as some countries are already setting deadlines to ban gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles. The state of California itself is studying the ban of these vehicles by 2035. Zero Labs hopes to be in demand in the market by helping convert old vehicles into electric cars.
Conversion of the Ford Broncos
The company then took a 50-year-old, rusty, abandoned Ford Broncos and converted it into an electric vehicle in just 24 hours. Of course, it’s not a complete transformation in 24 hours, but it gives a sense of the company’s marketing to demonstrate the functionality of its platform.

The electrification project of the Ford Broncos required carbon fiber, along with a unique electrification platform from Zero Labs. The company noted that the vehicle was completely rusty and damaged. If a common conversion technology were used, the project would take between 6 months to a year, but it only took 24 hours using the company’s technology. See images below of the completed project.
The company highlights that even with billions invested in electric vehicles, companies combined will only be able to deliver 7.9 million vehicles by 2025, which is far less than the market demands. “Although billions have been invested in innovative clean energy technologies in the next 10, 20, or even 50 years, the total projected volume for new and old manufacturers in 2025 is 7.9 million,” the company emphasizes.
Zero Labs has made its electric vehicle conversion platform simple and updatable. This means that as EV technology evolves, the cars will continue to be updated. Not to mention that older batteries will be recycled, all aimed at minimizing environmental impact.
