Gerdau Has Open Positions in Course for Young People Interested in Technology and Wanting to Boost Their Chances in the Job Market
The steel producer Gerdau, in partnership with Instituto Ser +, is selecting 53 young people between 18 and 24 years old who have completed high school in public schools for a free online technology course in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The positions are aimed at students from Porto Alegre and the Metropolitan Region. No prior knowledge in the area is required, just an interest in technology. Instituto Ser + and Gerdau are joining forces for the Start Project. By participating in the course, candidates will: Acquire knowledge in Technology and Administrative areas; Develop personal and professional skills; Work on self-awareness, self-esteem, and talent discovery; All of this for free to be better prepared for a job opportunity in the job market.
To participate in the course, you must be between 18 and 24 years old, have completed high school in a public school, and reside in Porto Alegre and the Metropolitan Region, Charqueadas, or Sapucaia do Sul. The course will last for 3 months, starting in September.

How to Apply for the Opportunity Opened by Gerdau in Rio Grande do Sul
Classes will start in September, lasting three months and comprising 210 hours. The course will cover knowledge in complementary areas such as citizenship, behavioral skills, communication, administration, and financial education.

The cellulose industry Suzano has opened 250 positions for four professional training courses in Ribas do Rio Pardo, in the central region of Mato Grosso do Sul, where the company will build its new factory. Elaine Maria Dias, Human Resources Coordinator at Suzano, states that one of the most significant contributions of the new cellulose factory’s construction in Ribas do Rio Pardo is socio-economic development, driven by job creation, income generation, and professional qualification.
