Steel producer Gerdau, in partnership with Instituto Ser +, selected 53 young people aged between 18 and 24 who completed high school in public schools for a free online technology course in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Instituto Ser + and Gerdau team up to carry out the Start Project. By participating in the course, the candidate will: Obtain knowledge in the areas of Technology and Administration; Develop personal and professional skills; Work on self-knowledge, self-esteem and talent discovery; All this free of charge to be better prepared for a job market.
To participate in the course, you must be between 18 and 24 years old, have completed high school in public schools and live in Porto Alegre and the Metropolitan Region, Charqueadas or Sapucaia do Sul. It will be a 3-month course, starting in September.
How to apply for the opportunity opened by Gerdau in Rio Grande do Sul
Classes start in September, lasting three months and totaling 210 hours. The course will address knowledge in complementary areas, such as citizenship, behavioral skills, communication, administration and financial education.

The pulp industry Suzano opened 250 vacancies for four professional training courses in Ribas do Rio Pardo, in the central region of Mato Grosso do Sul, where the company is going to build its new factory. The training courses will be held in partnership with Senai (National Service for Industrial Learning) and enrollment will run until August 30th.
Suzano's training courses in partnership with Senai will be given in Ribas do Rio Pardo, from Monday to Friday, with 8 hours of training per day, including practical and theoretical classes. Among the benefits offered to interested people are a grant in the amount of R$ 350, meals and a professional training certificate. For people from other cities who are interested in applying and will be selected, the company will also offer accommodation.
Elaine Maria Dias, Suzano's Human Resources coordinator, says that one of the most significant contributions of the construction of Suzano's new pulp mill in Ribas do Rio Pardo is socioeconomic development, fostered by the generation of employment, income and professional qualification.
