The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais (IFMG) opened applications on Tuesday (18) for its 2021/2 selection process. The institution has 450 spots available for free courses in various areas such as Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, and many others.

In the concurrent modality, candidates for the free course spots must be enrolled and attending the 1st or 2nd year of high school at another institution, taking only the technical training disciplines at IFMG.
To register for the free courses in this modality at IFMG, candidates must provide a document proving their performance in Mathematics and Portuguese Language in the 7th and 8th year of elementary school.

To register for the selection process as a subsequent candidate, a document with the average grades in Mathematics and Portuguese Language from the 1st and 2nd year of high school will be required.
For higher education courses, candidates must have completed high school by the enrollment date. The spots will be divided equally between half through the IFMG selection process and the other half available via Sisu.
For higher education courses, candidates must have taken the ENEM exams in any of these years: 2018, 2019, or 2020, without scoring zero on any test, including the essay.
