The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais (IFMG) opened registration this Tuesday (18) for its 2021/2 selection process. The institution has 450 vacancies open for free courses in several areas such as Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering and many others.

In the concurrent modality, candidates for free courses must be enrolled and attending the 1st or 2nd year of high school at another institution, taking only the technical training subjects at the IFMG.
To enroll in free courses in this modality of the IFMG, candidates must provide a document proving their performance in the Mathematics and Portuguese Language disciplines in the 7th and 8th grade of Elementary School.
In the subsequent modality, the candidate must have finished high school or be expected to complete it by the enrollment date. In this modality, the student will only attend technical training subjects at the IFMG.
To enroll in the subsequent selection process, a document containing the averages of Mathematics and Portuguese Language of the 1st and 2nd year of High School will be required.
For higher education courses, the candidate must have completed high school by the enrollment date. Vacancies will be divided into half by the selection process of the IFMG and another half of the vacancies will be made available via Sisu.
For higher courses, it will be necessary for the candidate to have taken the Enem tests in some of these years: 2018, 2019 or 2020, without having zeroed any test, including writing.

- To the Congonhas Campus: Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering
- Other Black Campus: Technological Quality Management
- Ribeirao das Neves Campus: Technological Management Processes / Administration Bachelor's Degree

Afterwards, you must choose the free mechanical engineering course or others of your choice and register. Please note that the registration fee is R$ 25,00.
