IFMS Is Offering More Than 700 Places In Free Courses In Its Units Available In The State Of MS. The Courses Are Focused On Spanish, English, And Libras And Will Begin In February Of Next Year
The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) has more than 729 places available in free language courses. The opportunities are for the courses of Spanish, English, and Libras. Those interested in enrolling in the selection process have until this Friday (3) to register. The free courses are offered by the IFMS Language Center for the municipalities of Aquidauana, Corumbá, Campo Grande, Coxim, Jardim, Dourados, Naviraí, Ponta Porã, Nova Andradina, and Três Lagoas, for beginner and ongoing classes of various levels. Classes will begin in the first quarter of 2022.

Registrations can be made on the Candidate’s Page and, before registering, it will be necessary to create an account on the platform with the following data: Full Name, CPF, Date of Birth, RG, Gender, Education, Mother’s Name, Phone, Address, among others.

How Will The Selection Process Work?
For classes already in progress, a placement test will be required. Those who have no knowledge of Spanish, English, and Libras must enroll in the Basic – Level I class. Those without internet access can request IFMS to use a computer to register on campus.
Scheduling for in-person assistance must be done by phone, according to the contacts mentioned in Annex III of the public notice. The selection process for the free Spanish, English, and Libras courses will be conducted through an electronic lottery, scheduled for January 4 of next year, with the final result and the first call expected to be on the 11th of the same month.
Classes are scheduled to start on February 7. The placement test will assess students’ prior knowledge of Spanish, English, or Libras. The forecast is that calls for the test will be made on December 7, and the test will be online, administered between the 9th and 17th of the same month, with results announced on the 22nd.
