With 198 m², Glass Edge, and View of the Heart of Fortaleza, the Largest Pool with Transparent Wall in Brazil Will Be the Highlight of BS Gold, a New Milestone in Residential Civil Construction.
A 198 square meter pool, with a transparent glass edge, will be one of the main highlights of BS Gold, a high-end residential project currently under construction in Fortaleza (CE). Announced by Beto Studart, the businessman leading the project, the structure will be the largest in Brazil with this type of finish, occupying an elevated floor with a privileged view of two of the main streets of the Ceará capital. Completion is expected in 2027.
The information was disclosed by Studart himself in an interview with Egídio Serpa’s column, published in Diário do Nordeste. According to him, the pool will occupy part of the third floor of the building and will be heated, featuring a 20-meter-long lane, an average depth of 1 meter, and a volume of 193,87 thousand liters of water. The distinctive feature, in addition to size, is the glazed perimeter of 32 meters, which will form the space’s transparent edge.
Glass Edge and Noble Coating
The pool’s structure will be made with high-strength glass walls, a type of solution used in oceanic aquariums and high-end developments in international urban centers. The transparency of the edge will create a visual continuity with the external landscape, allowing for a panoramic view of Desembargador Leite Albuquerque and Professor Dias da Rocha streets, which surround the so-called Quadra BS, where BS Gold is being erected.

The space will also feature Jade Stone coating, in 10 x 10 cm pieces, adding a sophisticated and timeless look to the project. The pool will be set in an area that combines thermal comfort, relaxation space, and a privileged view of the city.
Project in Advanced Rhythm and High Sales Rate
According to Beto Studart, the construction of BS Gold “is proceeding at a frevo rhythm” and is on schedule for delivery in 2027. He also revealed that 80% of the residential units have already been sold, demonstrating strong demand for high-end developments with exclusive differentiators.
In addition to the pool, the building will feature a party room with a stage and bar with acoustic treatment, a pet area, a pet care station, electric car charging points in the garages, five high-speed coded elevators, and on the roof, the Golden View, a gourmet space with a panoramic lounge on the 28th floor.
New Milestone for Civil Construction in Fortaleza
The transparent edge pool at BS Gold is not only an innovation in terms of design: it also symbolizes the growing appreciation for high-rise leisure spaces and the pursuit of projects that integrate urbanism, architecture, and exclusivity.
According to Diário do Nordeste, BS Gold is the first of four developments that will comprise Quadra BS, a planned real estate complex aimed at transforming the area covered by Desembargador Leite Albuquerque, Santos Dumont, Professor Dias da Rocha, and Senador Virgílio Távora streets into a new high-end urban axis in Fortaleza.
The architectural project of the building is designed by Daniel Arruda, who is also responsible for BS Design, another landmark in the city’s landscape. The landscaping project includes wide sidewalks of 7.5 meters, something unprecedented in the Ceará capital, focusing on urban mobility and environmental comfort.
Innovation and Trend in the Sector
The installation of glass edge pools in residential developments has become a trend in capitals like São Paulo, Dubai, and Miami, where design is increasingly used as a factor for real estate appreciation. In the case of BS Gold, the proposal aims to combine the visual impact of the structure with functionality and thermal comfort, with heating and integration into the fitness and social areas of the condominium.
With the largest pool with a transparent edge in the country, BS Gold fits into this new concept of suspended leisure with an urban view, demonstrating how the construction sector is advancing towards projects that combine architectural sophistication and market differentiation.
