At the end of the first part of the development presentation, the audience applauded, marking a new cycle of prosperity for the city of Macaé

The Public Hearing for the installation of Tepor in Macaé on the 7th was a total success, more than 3 people attended the event at the Roberto Marinho Convention Center. All environmental control bodies and other institutional authorities were present in order to elucidate and clarify the population about the project, such as the impacts on the environment, social and economic benefits for Macaé.

EBTE Engenharia, through its representatives and responsible for the works, presented all the EIA and RIMA studies, these reports were also spread around the Convention Center for free consultation.

At the end of the first part of the development's presentation, the audience applauded and cheered for everything that was presented. During the presentation break, it was time for questions and answers, with questions open to the public to resolve all remaining doubts about Tepor. If you want to clear up any doubts about the project, you can do so easily through the  State Institute for the Environment (INEA) website.

Beginning of Works

With the development already cleared by the population, in approximately 3 months INEA will issue the preliminary license, with an expected cost of 8 billion reais in this development. Following the standard schedule for this type of work, in the 2nd half of 2019 the first hires should begin.

It is worth mentioning that next to Tepor (Port Terminal), there are also works on the Transport that will connect the port to BR 101 and the Thermoelectric that will be built in the CLIMA industrial complex. Understand a little more about the chain of projects in the video below:

Weather

The project is a port complex made up of facilities in maritime areas – called offshore – and in land areas – onshore. In these facilities, industrial activities, logistics, storage and distribution of products for the oil and gas sector will be carried out. The maritime area will consist of two terminals called Terminal A and Terminal B.

The land area will have approximately 6.042.682m² and will consist of three retro areas: primary retro area, secondary retro area and tertiary retro area.

Tepor will meet the operational needs of the oil and gas industry and will provide the necessary infrastructure for Macaé to be prepared to follow the new cycle of economic development that is beginning to take place in the country.
