Porto do Itaqui located in São Luís, Maranhão, is highlighted by MInfra as one of the 3 best ports in Brazil, according to the Portos + Brasil award.

The port of Itaqui reached the second position within the Port Authority Management Index (IGAP), side by side with the ports of Imbituba and Santos (SC), and had a difference in relation to the ports of Paraná, of 0,5 which the Ports of Paraná and Itajaí (SC) ranked first and third for Execution of Planned Investments, in the MInfra report.

Porto do Itaqui in São Luís accumulates performance in two more award categories

In two other award categories, the Port of Itaqui in São Luís accumulates a winning performance. In terms of the EBTIDA margin, a category that aims to evaluate, in percentages, the development of the port authorities in relation to the previous year, emphasizing that the Port of Itaqui has a recent history of true revolution in such a capital generation index: what did a huge leap from 0,1% in 2014 to 48,7% in 2015 alone, thus stabilizing in 2019 at 49,6%.
