Tests Of The Fastest Train In The World
In February 2024, during a crucial technology testing of the maglev, the train operated 100% stably for a 2 km low vacuum tube, according to information from the Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), the state-owned company officially responsible for the train project from China.
Although the exact speed reached by the train in the last test conducted was not disclosed, Aerospace Science confirmed it was a speed greater than the previously set record.
As mentioned throughout this article, the maglev train uses magnetic levitation technology, which imposes magnetic forces to lift, move, and direct the train without contact with the ground. This eliminates the need for wheels and brakes on the train.
