New Yamaha Factor DX 150 Hits the Market Focused on Economy, Comfort, and Versatility in Daily Life

Yamaha has just launched the new Yamaha Factor DX 150 in Brazil, a motorcycle that stands out among urban models for its excellent range of up to 700 km on a single tank of fuel. With an average consumption of over 45 km per liter, the bike arrives with a refreshed look, practical features, and promises good performance for both personal and professional use.

Known for its efficiency and simplicity, the Factor 150 is one of the most sought-after motorcycles by delivery drivers, students, and self-employed professionals looking for economy and sturdiness in their daily lives. In this new DX version, Yamaha reinforces its commitment to practicality, economy, and a more comfortable ride. New Yamaha Motorcycle Focuses on Efficiency with 149.3 cc Engine and Fuel Injection

The engine of the new Yamaha YBR 150 Factor 2025 is a single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine with a displacement of 149.3 cm³. It is flexible and can run on either gasoline or ethanol. The maximum power output is 12.4 hp at 7,500 rpm, with torque of 1.3 kgfm at 5,500 rpm.

The motorcycle comes equipped with fuel injection, which improves power delivery and contributes directly to low fuel consumption. According to factory data, the Factor DX 150 achieves a range of up to 700 km thanks to its 15.7-liter tank and estimated consumption of 45 km/liter — one of the best in its category.

The new Yamaha motorcycle was designed to be lightweight, practical, and comfortable. The seat is wide and soft, with an ergonomic shape that appeals to both experienced riders and beginners. The seat height is just 785 mm, making it easier for shorter individuals to use and contributing to greater safety during maneuvers.

The wide handlebar and ergonomic riding position ensure control and stability, even in congested urban routes. Furthermore, the digital panel includes a fuel gauge, gear indicator, total and trip odometer, along with an ECO indicator, which signals when the ride is more economical.

Combined Brakes and Tubeless Tires Enhance Safety and Practicality

The Yamaha Factor DX 150 is equipped with the UBS (Unified Brake System), which distributes braking force between the front and rear wheels even when the rider only applies the rear brake. The goal is to provide safer braking, especially for less experienced users.

The front brake is disc, while the rear is drum — a combination that ensures good braking performance without significantly increasing the final cost of the motorcycle. The tubeless tires are another plus. They offer more practicality in case of punctures and make repairs easier, a feature highly valued by those who rely on the motorcycle daily for work.

Sporty Style and Updated Look Characterize the New Yamaha YBR 150 Factor

Even though it is a motorcycle aimed at urban and utility use, the new Yamaha YBR 150 Factor 2025 does not neglect its sporty look. The lines of the tank and side fairings have been redesigned to give the whole package a more aggressive feel, while the new colors and graphics reinforce the model’s youthful identity.

The simple and functional design appeals to those seeking practicality, but also stands out on the streets. The DX version arrives with updated colors, combining good taste with a modern look, making the motorcycle attractive both as a work tool and for weekend leisure.

Economy as the Main Selling Point: A Motorcycle That Achieves 58 km per Liter?

Although factory tests indicate an average consumption of 45 km/l under ideal riding conditions and with constant use of gasoline, some user reports suggest that the new Yamaha motorcycle can reach figures close to 58 km per liter on flat routes with economical riding.

This makes the YBR 150 Factor 2025 stand out not only among 150 cc motorcycles but also when compared to scooters and lower displacement models. The combination of range, simple and inexpensive maintenance transforms this model into a true “war tank” of urban mobility.

Where to Buy and How Much Does It Cost?

The new Yamaha Factor DX 150 is already available for purchase at all authorized Yamaha dealerships in Brazil and can also be checked through the official brand website. The model can be acquired in different configurations, with prices and colors varying depending on the chosen version.

The Yamaha Factor 150 ED UBS, the most basic version, has a sugested retail price of R$ 17,690, not including freight and freight insurance. It is available in the colors Sports White (Solid White)Red Hot (Metallic Red) and Black Eclipse (Solid Black).

The Factor DX version, which stands out for its sportier look with colored wheels, is priced at R$ 18,490, in the colors Silver Beskar (Silver) with green wheels, Racing Blue (Metallic Blue) with blue wheels, and Midnight Black (Metallic Black) with gold wheels.

For those looking for even more style and practicality, Yamaha offers the Accessory Pack which raises the value to R$ 18,990 (also excluding freight or insurance). Prices may vary by region and store availability, so it is recommended to consult a local dealership for updated conditions and financing options.

Simple but Functional Technology: Straightforward with Focus on the Essentials

Yamaha did not invest in major technological innovations for this motorcycle. The focus of the new Yamaha Factor DX 150 is to deliver a functional, reliable, and accessible package. The digital panel, combined braking system, tubeless tires, and economic riding indicator are sufficient features for the model’s target audience.

The absence of connectivity, TFT panel, or electronic assistants does not compromise the motorcycle’s proposal: to be economical, robust, and easy to maintain. This simplicity also translates into lower repair costs, which is highly valued by delivery riders and urban motorcyclists.

Yamaha’s After-Sales Still Faces Resistance, But the Model Gains Points with Inexpensive Maintenance

Despite the technical qualities of the new Yamaha motorcycle, the brand still faces some resistance in Brazil, especially in the after-sales segment. This is due to the history of two-stroke engines used in the past, which negatively impacted the brand’s reliability perception.

Another factor is the dealership network, which is smaller compared to its main competitor in the country. However, the Yamaha Factor DX 150 offers simple maintenance, accessible parts, and good durability, which partially compensates for the difficulty of technical support in more remote areas.

Vamos lá, se a comparação for somente produto X produto, a Yamaha está infinitamente a frente da concorrente direta. Durabilidade, confiabilidade, conforto e qualidade superior a concorrente.
