The process, led by Tecadi, one of the main logistics operators in the region, began with the arrival of over 665 containers at the Port of Itajaí, all coming directly from China. The size of the containerized cargo already indicated the enormity of the challenge.
Since the end of June, when the cargo arrived, the operation has not stopped. Operating 24 hours a day, the Tecadi team orchestrated a true ballet of vehicles and equipment.
The process included the road transportation of the containers from the port to the company’s logistics center in Itajaí, the meticulous unloading of each vehicle from within the containers using specialized forklifts, and finally, the secure storage before distribution throughout the national territory.
This speed is crucial for the BYD vehicles to quickly reach dealerships and, consequently, Brazilian consumers.
Rafael Dagnoni, co-founder of Tecadi, highlighted the importance of this achievement: “This operation marks a new milestone for the company, reinforcing the trust of major global brands in our infrastructure and demonstrating our ability to execute complex operations with agility, technology, and alignment with sustainability and innovation principles.”
