According to Marcos Trad, mayor of Campo Grande – MS, several works will be completed through the state program. “The new access to UCDB via Marechal Câmara Street in Jardim Seminário, the resurfacing of Florestal Avenue, the main commercial road of the Coophatralho neighborhood, as well as drainage works that will eliminate a flooding point near the Nova Bahia Terminal, on Cônsul Assaf Trad Avenue, will be concluded,” he emphasized.
R$ 115.7 million will be invested by the city hall of Campo Grande – MS, while the State Government will be responsible for R$ 65.5 million, with R$ 40 million allocated solely for the new access to Moreninhas from Guaicurus Avenue.
Another R$ 1.7 million invested will be allocated to complete the first stretch of the Avenida Rita Vieira extension to Guaicurus.
The investment also includes infrastructure works of nearly 86 kilometers of asphalt and paving that will benefit six neighborhoods of the capital: Nova Campo Grande, Nova Lima (B), Seminário, Sírio Libanês, Atlântico Sul, and Vila Nasser.
The investments also ensure the implementation of more public transport corridors with works to resurface Calógeras, Marechal Deodoro, and Mato Grosso Avenues (a 2.84 km extension from Ceará Street to Calógeras Avenue). The city hall of Campo Grande has already resurfaced the remaining stretch of the road, between Ceará and Hiroshima Street.
