Centelha 2 Program Has Open Enrollment for the Incentive Program for Innovative Projects in the State of Goiás
The Centelha 2 program, from the Research Support Foundation of the State of Goiás (FAPEG), is open for enrollment for those interested in growing their business. The program aims to encourage the creation of innovation projects in the state of Goiás.
According to information from FAPEG, the program will have a state investment of R$ 4.5 million for financing the projects. The program will select a total of 50 projects, each of which can receive up to R$ 60 thousand in investment. The money will be used to cover the costs and risks of the entrepreneurial project.

The program announcement highlights that the goal of Centelha 2 is “to stimulate entrepreneurship through training in product development – goods and/or services – or innovative processes and support, through the granting of resources, the generation of companies that incorporate new technologies into the economic sectors of the state.” Check the announcement here.

Criteria for Registration
The program is quite bureaucratic, as anyone over 18 years old can register for the project. The individual may or may not be linked to a company that has existed for up to 12 months, and the company’s revenue cannot exceed R$ 4.8 million. Of course, both the company and the individual must necessarily be from Goiás.
Results of Registrations
The preliminary results and the proposals that were selected will be published on the official FAPEG website and on the government portal of the state of Goiás.
