According to Forbes estimates, Musk’s fortune reached an impressive US$ 428 billion (R$ 2.556 trillion), making him the richest person ever recorded by the publication in nearly 40 years.

This significant leap in Musk’s wealth was driven mainly by two factors: the appreciation of Tesla shares and the substantial increase in the market value of SpaceX, which was recently valued at US$ 350 billion (R$ 2.089 trillion) after a stock buyback.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX, a leader in the rocket and space exploration industry, surpassed giants like ByteDance (owner of TikTok) and OpenAI (creator of ChatGPT) to become the most valuable private company in the world. Elon Musk’s stake in SpaceX, estimated at 42%, is now worth US$ 147 billion (R$ 877.59 billion), representing an increase of over 60% compared to the last valuation.
