The Manati field is located 10km off the coast of the municipality of Cairú, Bahia, in water depths between 35 and 50 meters.
The field began its operations in 2009, and its average production in 2019 was 105 bpd of condensate and 1,269 thousand m3/day of gas, through the fixed platform PMNT-1, which involves a subsea structure composed of 6 gas producing wells.
Petrobras is the operator of the field, with a 35% stake, in partnership with Enauta Participações (45%), Geopark Brasil E&P de Petróleo e Gás Ltda. (10%), and Brasoil Manati Exploração Petrolífera Ltda. (10%).

Petrobras Suspends Drilling Rigs in Bahia and Sergipe; 550 Oil Workers Become Unemployed
The suspension of five oil drilling rigs operating at Petrobras’ Operational Unit (UO) in Bahia will initially result in the dismissal of 350 oil workers.
In addition to the oil fields in Bahia, Petrobras also terminated the activities of four rigs from Braserv in Sergipe, resulting in the dismissal of 200 workers. Click here to continue reading.
