A New INSS Competition Is Coming, The Promise Is That Thousands Of Positions Will Be Offered Both To High School And Higher Education Candidates. The New Public Competition Of The INSS Will Be Destined For The Social Security Career And Federal Medical Expert.

The new INSS competition (National Institute of Social Security) is still awaited. On Friday, August 18, Resolution No. 1,355 was published in the Official Gazette of the Union by the National Social Security Council, which approves the new limits of the Budget Proposal for Social Security activities for 2024.

New INSS Competition May Generate More Than 9 Thousand Job Vacancies Of Employment

The resolution states that discretionary expenses were approved at the amount of R$ 1.9 billion allocated for the INSS, and R$ 188.5 million allocated for the Ministry of Social Security, without prejudice to negotiations for supplementation during 2024, considering the financial and budgetary availability.

The document also highlights the need to hold a public competition and hire 7,655 Social Security (INSS) employees and 1,574 Federal Medical Expert employees, so that the improvement of service by social security and the execution of public policies is ensured.

Resolution No. 1,354

It is important to highlight that, on the last day of this month, the INSS had published the Resolution No. 1,354 that approved the budget proposal for Social Security in 2024, in addition to foreseeing a new INSS competition of 7,655 vacancies, which included 5,819 positions for technicians and 1,836 for analysts.

In the case of technicians, to compete, it is necessary to have only a high school education, with an initial salary of R$ 6,169.93, already considering the food allowance of 658. For analysts, which requires a complete higher education, the initial salary is R$ 9,767.20, already including the benefit, with a work schedule of 40 hours per week.

More Than 250 Approved In The Last Competition Will Be Called In 2023

During the III State Meeting of Active Workers of the INSS, the president of the entity, Alessandro Stefanutto, confirmed that more than 250 approved candidates from the last public competition for technicians will be called this year. According to the executive, so far, the goal is to continue calling the remaining candidates before thinking about a new INSS competition.

The president also highlights that he will advocate for changing the education requirement for technicians from secondary to higher education. Stefanutto states that he understands the need to advance to higher education and knows that it is a government matter. He will advocate for this and has already publicly supported this initiative.

Find Out How The Last INSS Competition Was For Technicians

The last INSS competition for technicians was held last year, with a total of no less than 1,023,494 registered for the offering of 1,000 initial vacancies, in addition to 2,373 reserve registry positions.

The organizing body, at the time, was Cebraspe. The objective test consisted of 120 questions, with 50 on basic knowledge and 70 on specific knowledge. The basic knowledge questions included the following subjects:

  • Basics of Administrative Law;
  • Ethics in Public Service.
