Chery's new SUV arrives on the automotive market with a wide range of standard equipment and advanced technologies, surpassing its rivals. Discover the Chery iCAR 03, the electric car that has a consumption equivalent to 60 km/l.
Although it resembles the old Land Rover with its angular design, the Chery iCAR 03 is considered a futuristic model when compared to the British classic. Launched at the end of February, this new Chery SUV has just been equipped with Level 2+ autonomous driving, developed by drone manufacturer DJI. This integration of new technologies promises to revolutionize the driving experience and position the iCAR 03 as one of the most advanced vehicles on the automotive market.
Chery's new SUV delivers up to 279 hp
New technologies include urban and highway driving assistant, automatic parking, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, lane departure warning and corrector, blind spot monitoring, license plate and sign recognition, front and rear collision alerts, and navigation function for up to ten routes, with a maximum length of 150 kilometers each.
These are unimaginable refinements in a Jeep Compass, a model that has the same dimensions as Chery's new SUV on the automotive market, but costs 50% more expensive.

Despite being less powerful, with 185 hp, compared to the 279 hp of the Chery iCar 03, the Compass costs R$ 179.900, while the most expensive version of the iCar 03, the Intelligent Driving Edition, costs 159.800 yuan per equivalent to R$118.455.
Furthermore, its torque of 32,9 mkgf is 20% greater than that of the Compass and also has the advantage of being available almost instantly, but it is in its efficiency that Chery's new SUV stands out in the automotive market.
Its electricity consumption is equivalent to 59,8 km/l, which can be translated into savings of up to 490% for its owner, while the Jeep does not exceed 12,1 km/l on the road, using gasoline as fuel.
New Chery iCAR 03 can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6,5 seconds
With almost two tons, Chery's new SUV is far from standing out in performance, but it can go from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3 seconds and from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6,5, superior to the Compass, which reaches 8,8 s. The Chinese model can reach a maximum speed of 150 km/h, less than the Jeep vehicle, which delivers 185 km/h.
The Chery iCAR 03 is available in three versions, with ranges of 401, 472 and 501 kilometers, all equipped with LFP batteries (lithium iron phosphate) supplied by the giant CATL.
Just to give you an idea, the Compass T270 has an urban autonomy of 426 km, being fueled only with alcohol, according to data from Jeep itself. Using a fast charger, it is possible to charge up to 80% of Chery's new SUV on the automotive market in just 30 minutes.
Interior design of the new Chery iCAR 03 impresses
Measuring 4,40 meters long, 1,91 m wide and 1,75 m high, the iCAR 03 is 10 cm wider and 12 cm taller than the Compass, with an 8 cm advantage in wheelbase ( 2,71 m). The model features several technologies such as a heated multifunctional steering wheel, a driver's seat with massage function and ventilation, 64-color interior ambient lighting and much more.
The internal layout is very clean, creating a refined environment compared to other rivals. The central control screen is 15,6 inches, integrated 8155 chip, embedded WeChat, Huawei's Hicar system, i-VA artificial intelligence voice recognition.
