Banco do Brasil is Accepting Applications for Its New Public Competition Focused on High School Candidates. Those Approved Will Have an Initial Salary of R$ 6,000 and Many Benefits.
The announcement for the new public competition from Banco do Brasil was published this Friday (23), and a total of 6,000 positions are being made available for high school candidates from all states in Brazil and the Federal District in the position of clerk, which requires a high school level. The starting salary is R$ 5,436.03. Like the last Banco do Brasil Competition, the current one has national coverage, allowing the candidate to choose their workplace. There are opportunities in all 26 states of the country, plus the Federal District.
Banco do Brasil Competition Exams Will Take Place in April 2023
The clerk positions are distributed across two professional profiles, with 3,000 positions available for each. The Commercial Agent is the professional who works at the bank, mainly in customer service, and has positions in all agencies across Brazil.
The Technology Agent is the professional who works in the IT area, with specific knowledge, and holds such a position in the Federal District, in Brasília. The candidates for the public competition will be evaluated through objective tests and an essay. The exams will last 5 hours and will take place on April 23.

The exam will consist of 70 questions, including 25 on Basic Knowledge and 45 on Specific Knowledge. The subjects may vary according to the chosen professional profile. As mentioned in October, high school graduates will have initial earnings of R$ 5,436.03, consisting of R$ 3,622.23 as a starting salary, R$ 1,014.42 for food or meal assistance, and R$ 799.38 for food basket assistance.
Hiring will occur under the labor law regime. At the bank, throughout their career, professionals will be able to train through the Banco do Brasil Corporate University (UniBB), with access to scholarships for undergraduate studies, languages, postgraduate studies, and much more.
Learn How to Register for the Banco do Brasil Public Competition
Applications for the high school candidates’ competition are being accepted on the Fundação Cesgranrio website, the organizing institution, since last Friday. Interested individuals can register until February 24.
At the time of registration, the candidate must choose the region or city they wish to compete for the positions. To participate in the competition, it is necessary to pay a fee of R$ 50. Those who are from low-income families and registered in the Federal Government Unified Register (CadÚnico), as well as bone marrow donors, can request an exemption from the fee from December 23 to January 3, on the organizing institution’s website.
It is important to emphasize that in addition to salaries, Banco do Brasil will provide high school candidates with various benefits such as profit-sharing, health and dental plans, childcare assistance or “nanny” assistance, and assistance for children with disabilities.
