Registration is underway for the Public Competition of the City Council of Nova Iguaçu, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Interested parties have until February 27 to apply through the website of the organizing institution, Instituto AOCP.
The announcement provides for 38 immediate vacancies in positions of medium and higher education. As for starting salaries, they range from R$ 3,150.00 to R$ 19,770.18, attractive salaries, similar to other selection processes.
This Public Competition aims to fill existing vacancies under statutory regime in the staffing of the City Council of Nova Iguaçu, State of Rio de Janeiro. According to the Announcement, the competition is valid for 2 (two) years from the date of ratification and may be extended for an equal period at the discretion of the City Council of Nova Iguaçu.

The Public Competition Will Have the Following Stages
- Objective Test – for all positions, of Elimination and Classification nature;
- Discursive Test – for the positions of Writing Agent; Social Communication Analyst; Human Resources Analyst; Legislative Support Analyst; Legal Analyst; Legislative Consultant and Controller, of Elimination and Classification nature;
- Practical Test – exclusively for the position of Technical Interpreter and LIBRAS Translator, of Elimination nature;
- Oral Test – only for the position of Prosecutor, of Elimination and Classification nature;
- Evaluation of Titles – applicable only to the position of Prosecutor, of Classification nature.
The Objective and Discursive Tests are scheduled to take place on April 21, 2024. The Objective Test, of elimination and classification nature, will follow the distribution and evaluation established in the announcement.
To avoid being eliminated from the public competition, the candidate must obtain 50% (fifty percent) or more of the total points provided in the Objective Test, in addition to not being eliminated by other criteria established in the Announcement, except for the position of First-Class Prosecutor.
