CSN Mining has new job openings for professionals residing near its facilities located in Congonhas, in the state of Minas Gerais, and in Itaguaí, Rio de Janeiro. The opportunities are open for hiring new employees until the end of December this year. There are openings for geologists, IT analysts, mechanics, and much more.

Geologist

A degree in geology is required, CNH B, experience with hydrogeological studies and geotechnical assessments. Proficiency in various hydrogeology & geotechnics software packages and the ability to handle and analyze data and 3D models is desirable. Conduct hydrogeological studies and geotechnical assessments of mine slopes, prepare and deliver technical presentations and analyses, among others.

Technical Assistant

A degree in Geology, initial experience with geological studies and mineral resource assessments, desirable experience in presenting projects and results, ability to immerse in various geology and geostatistics software environments, as well as analytical skills related to these technical aspects, CNH B is desirable.

Information Technology Analyst

A degree in Computer Science or related fields is required, experience with tools such as .Net or .Net Core C#, strong experience with information systems, Web development: ASP.NET MVC, Web API REST and SOAP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript. SQL and Microsoft SQL Server, code versioning with Git, among others.

Mechanic – Maintenance of Large Mining Mobile Equipment

A complete high school education is required, knowledge in replacing components in D8N, D10R track dozers, among others, motor graders, 854K wheeled tractors, Caterpillar 6060 excavators, 994H wheel loaders, 793D and 793F off-road trucks, solid experience in maintaining large mining mobile equipment, knowledge in component replacement, adjustment, and testing.
