Ford's new car will arrive in Brazil to take the reigns of the SW4. Meet the Ford Everest V6 diesel, the Ranger SUV that promises to deliver up to 270 horsepower.
Ford's new car – Everest V6 diesel is a Ranger SUV that is coming with everything and has a chance to become the leader, easily surpassing the SW4. Just like the Ranger, the Everest has gained a completely new generation and it brings all the adjustments of the pickup, but as an SUV from the Ranger that is even more complete, safe and luxurious, managing to be even better than the Ranger, which is the best medium pickup for sale in Brazil today.

The model is quite large at 4,91 m long, 2,90 m wheelbase, 1,93 m wide, 1,84 m high, weighing up to 2.076 kg and it accommodates a gigantic 650 L of luggage with the third row of seats folded down.
The style of the new Ford Everest V6 diesel really looks beautiful and the new Ford car can come with a grille that features chrome details, a beautiful adaptive full LED optical set, which draws a lot of attention because it is the LED with the projector and not Ecoled like in the Ranger.

On the sides, we have some chrome, the size is quite large and the wheels go up to 20 inches diamond-cut for the Top versions.
At the rear, the Ranger SUV has a more retro feel and the interconnected full LED lights are very reminiscent of the old ones. Mustang and we also have an integrated spoiler. Overall, the Ford Everest V6 diesel is a car that looks sensational and attracts attention from all sides.
New Ford car delivers up to 270 horsepower
In terms of engine, the new Ford car basically offers all the options of the Ranger, which are great. Starting with the one that equips most configurations, but which unfortunately we won't have here in Brazil, we're talking about the 2.3 four-cylinder EcoBoost biturbo gasoline engine, which delivers a strong 270 horsepower and 42,8 kgfm of torque with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This version of the Ranger SUV has very good performance and the average consumption is interesting.
It also has the engine that got the public very excited about the Ranger here, in this case, the 3.0 V6 turbodiesel. It has 260 horsepower and 60 kgfm of torque coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission and excellent traction.
Last but not least, the new car Ford also brings in the entry-level versions, the 2.0 single turbo diesel, with 170 horsepower and 41,3 kgfm of torque, combined with a six-speed automatic transmission and, in this specific case, the traction can be rear or all-wheel drive, while in the others it is always 4×4.

Inside the Ford Everest V6 diesel we basically have a new Ranger, but even more luxurious and with superior finishing, with leather on the entire dashboard and larger parts of the rear doors as well. The interior space is generous for five adults and two more children in the third row of seats.
In terms of equipment, the Ranger SUV's main highlights include a panoramic sunroof, electric trunk opening and closing with proximity sensor, proximity key, induction cell phone charging, parking assist, start stop, traction and driving mode selector on the console, electronic parking brake, joystick-style gear lever, premium sound system, among others.
There is also a multifunctional steering wheel, a digital dashboard with a fully configurable 10,2-inch screen and much more. Another highlight of the car is the huge 12-inch multimedia system that is vertical and it brings together all the functions of the new Ford car, bringing a 360° camera system, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay Android Auto, native GPS, among others.
It has everything it needs to take off, but it all depends on the price and the cost of maintenance.
I believe it will sell well here in Brazil if it is priced lower than the Sw4. Otherwise it will have some difficulty, even though it is a superior truck. Let's wait. If it comes with a light or terracotta interior I will buy one.
A car superior to the SW4, how will it be cheaper? The FIR is innovating its cars every two years to work much better. The Ranger is a great truck. The SW4 doesn't even reach the OEs of this car, it doesn't have anything, just a doctor. Our friends who left with the Hailux won't go back after the Ranger.

I believe that the Ford brand is still viewed with reservations by Brazilian consumers, due to the fact that maintenance and parts did not compensate for purchasing a Ford, especially a big one like this. Let's wait for the first buyers to give their opinion on the cost/benefit.

How did you order 2 units if they didn't even come to Bostil? Ford didn't even say anything about coming here, they're just thinking about bringing them here. Have you tested them here? Yes, but not to bring them for now, there's no confirmation, don't talk nonsense!
Even with great qualities it will be difficult to convince SW4 owners to leave the brand... but there are consumers from other segments who will certainly migrate to Ford
