Grupo Nova Era, which is one of the leaders in wholesale and retail in the North region, is expanding its area of ​​operation with investments in a solar power plant

Operating in the North region in the wholesale and retail segments, the Nova Era Group is seeking to expand its area of ​​operation, investing in sustainable energy. In the coming months, Nova Era is getting ready to open its first farm of solar energy.  

The solar energy sector is constantly growing, shows the Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy (ABSOLAR). The sector attracted a lot of private and government investment, totaling around R$ 13 billion in investments

Initially, the Nova Era solar energy farm will generate energy for the 9 stores of Rede Barato e Pronto, one of the brands of the Nova Era group. Grupo Nova Era knows the importance of investing in clean energy. The use of solar power plant should generate a large economy of up to 72% in the Barato and Pronto chains.  

Nova Era believes in investing in clean energy

Giovanne Amorim, director of expansion at Nova Era, spoke about the company's investment in clean energy: “Considering that this is a clean and renewable energy, the benefits become even more significant, especially if we think about the positive impact on the environment.".  

Amorim also highlighted that sustainable energy is increasingly important, being in constant growth and being used in the most diverse sectors: “The combination of economy and sustainability has gained more and more importance in companies' strategies and Nova Era, as a group that has innovation in its DNA, could not fail to follow this direction". 

He also highlighted the expertise of the Nova Era Group in the segments in which it operates, being one of the market leaders in the North region, which is fundamental for the success of the new investment: “The group comes from a very consistent growth. All the Superatacado Nova Era, Pátio Gourmet and Barato e Pronto brands have shown excellent results, which allows for investments in other markets, mainly technology and innovation”.
