Halliburton Wins Two Drilling Contracts From ENI

Halliburton Will Mobilize Four to Six Rigs for Development Wells in the Coming Two Years in Iraq with Eni Iraq BV (Eni) to Provide Integrated Drilling Services at the Zubair Oil Field in Southern Iraq.

Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL) announced on the 26th that it has signed two contracts with Eni Iraq BV (Eni) to provide integrated drilling services at Eni’s Zubair Oil Field in southern Iraq. Under the contracts, Halliburton will mobilize four to six rigs to drill development wells in the next two years.

“We are pleased to take on this work and the opportunity to collaborate with Eni to design solutions for the development of Zubair,” said Mahmoud El-Kady, Vice President for the Iraq Area at Halliburton. “We have provided a wide range of drilling services to Eni since 2011, and signing these contracts is a testament to our ongoing commitment to safety and superior service quality.”
