The Public Health Company of Rio de Janeiro (RIOSAÚDE) announced the opening of a new selection process with job openings for professionals in the medical field.
Announcement No. 043/2025, published last Friday (4), aims to fill 15 temporary positions at the Ronaldo Gazolla Municipal Hospital.
The initiative seeks to address an urgent demand from the health unit, strengthening the team of specialists to improve care for the Rio de Janeiro population.

The opportunities offered in the RIOSAÚDE selection process are exclusively for candidates with a completed higher education in Medicine.

- On-Call Hematologist (1 position);
- On-Call Urologist (1 position);
- Clinical Physician (1 position);
- Clinical Physician – Palliative Care (1 position);
- Adult Neurologist – Outpatient (1 position);
- Urologist – Outpatient (1 position);
- On-Call General Surgeon (2 positions);
- On-Call Nephrologist (2 positions);
- On-Call Anesthesiologist (5 positions).
Salaries
The offered salaries vary according to specialty and function, with values that can exceed R$ 11 thousand per month. See the offered amounts:
R$ 3,742.55 – Adult Neurologist and Urologist for outpatient care;
R$ 4,491.06 – General Surgeon, Hematologist, Nephrologist, and On-Call Urologist;
R$ 4,669.19 – Anesthesiologist;
R$ 11,227.65 – Clinical Physician and Clinical Physician in Palliative Care.
Requirements
To apply for one of the vacancies in the RIOSAÚDE selection process, interested candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Completed higher education in Medicine
- Active registration with the Regional Medical Council of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CREMERJ)
- Medical residency title, specialization, or completed postgraduate degree in the area of expertise
Applications and Selection Process
Applications are open exclusively online, on the official RIOSAÚDE website (https://riosaude.rio.br/), and will remain open until 11:59 PM on April 8, 2025.
At the time of application, submission of an updated resume is mandatory, as it will be the main evaluation criterion for candidates.
The resume analysis will be the only selection method. The final result with candidate rankings will be published in the Official Diary of the City of Rio de Janeiro on April 11, 2025.
The selection process will be valid for one year, as of the date of homologation, with the possibility of extension for an equal period, according to the needs of the RIOSAÚDE administration.
