Renault has just announced the pre-sale of its newest compact SUV, the Renault Kardian. With prices starting at R$ 112.790, the model arrives on the Brazilian market with the mission to face strong competitors, such as the Fiat Pulse and the Volkswagen Nivus, according to the Auto Esporte website.
The compact Renault Kardian will be available in three versions: Evolution, Techno and Premiere Edition. Prices start at R$112.790 for the Evolution version, rising to R$122.990 for the Techno version, and reaching R$132.790 for the Premiere Edition launch version.
Equipment of the new compact SUV
The Evolution version of the compact SUV features LED headlights, functional roof rails, 16-inch iron wheels with hubcaps, side and curtain airbags, hill start assistant, speed controller and limiter, parking sensors and rear view camera. reverse, 7-inch digital instrument panel, shift paddles, 8-inch multimedia center with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electric mirrors and digital air conditioning.
The Techno version adds a raised console with armrest, soft-covered panel, automatic emergency braking, electric parking brake and 17-inch biton wheels, with two-color paint option.
The Premiere Edition version includes the same equipment as Techno, in addition to adaptive cruise control, safe distance and blind spot alerts, multiview camera, front parking sensor, automatic headlight switching, induction cell phone charger, 17-inch wheels diamond-tinted and darkened, fog lights and two-tone paintwork.
Pre-sale and Availability of the new compact SUV
The pre-sale of the Renault Kardian SUV began at 15 pm this Monday (19), with availability to purchase the R Pass package. Priority delivery of the car is guaranteed for those who make a reservation with a down payment of R$1.000. Pre-sales for the general public will be available from next Tuesday (20).
The Renault Kardian SUV will be equipped with a 1.0 turbo TCe engine with direct fuel injection, coupled to an automated double EDC gearbox six-speed clutch. This configuration delivers 125 hp of power and 22,4 kgfm of torque when fueled with ethanol.
Measuring 4,11 meters in length, 2,60 meters in wheelbase, 1,77 meters in width and 1,54 meters in height, the Kardian offers a trunk with a capacity of up to 410 liters, surpassing its direct competitors in internal space.
