An Italian company has developed a nearly imperceptible solar tile, equipped with ultra-thin 0,13 mm photovoltaic cells with an efficiency of up to 25%. This innovation allows the generation of clean energy without compromising the aesthetics of buildings, integrating harmoniously with various architectural styles.

Jackery, known worldwide for its renewable energy solutions and portability, surprised the audience at CES 2025, with a tile-shaped solar panel.

With announcements of cutting-edge technologies, the company reinforced its leadership in the sector, presenting products that combine efficiency, aesthetics and sustainability.

Highlight for solar tiles Jackery Solar Roof XBC, the modular storage system Explorer 5000 Plus and the portable solar panel SolarSaga 100 Prime. We will detail each new technology from the company.

Jackery Solar Roof XBC Solar Tiles

O Solar Roof XBC introduces a unique 150° curved design dubbed “smile.” This innovation is not only aesthetic, but also functional.

The curvature improves integration with conventional roofs, catering to more daring homes and architectural projects.

Its ultra-thin crystalline silicon solar cells, just 0.5 mm thick, are 0,13 mm, offer energy efficiency superior to 25%, resulting in a generation of up to 170 watts per square meter.

Available in obsidian black and terracotta, these tiles promise harmonize with any building style.

Furthermore, its installation is simple, being compatible with more than 90% of the mounting systems available on the market. This makes them a viable solution for both modern homes and more complex commercial projects.

Explorer 5000 Plus

Jackery also presented the Explorer 5000 Plus, an energy storage station that redefines the concept of energy autonomy.

With initial capacity of 5 kWh, the system can be expanded to up to 60 kWh with the use of additional batteries.

This modularity makes it ideal for both off-grid homes and energy emergencies in urban environments.

The Explorer 5000 Plus comes equipped with an integrated inverter and support for MC4, allowing easy integration with existing solar systems.

Its output power is impressive, reaching 7.200 watts. In addition, the resource UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) guarantees continuous power, even in situations of power grid failure.

Another innovation is the Jackery Smart Transfer Switch (STS), which enables full hybrid charging in just 102 minutes.

The system can also be controlled via an app, allowing users to monitor and optimize energy consumption in real time. Equipped with batteries LiFePO4, the Explorer 5000 Plus ensures safety, durability and consistent performance.

SolarSaga 100 Prime

For outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts, Jackery has launched the SolarSaga 100 Prime, a portable solar panel designed for RVs and boats.

Equipped with bifacial modules and cells Back Contact IBC, the panel generates up to 20% more energy than competing models, even in low light conditions. Its overall efficiency surpasses 25%, ensuring reliable power for any journey.

Certified water resistant IP68 and lightweight design, the SolarSaga 100 Prime is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and minimize wind noise.

Its compact dimensions, 986 x 552 x 29 mm, facilitate transportation and installation in recreational vehicles and boats.

Jackery reaffirms commitment to sustainable innovation

Jackery had already attracted attention at CES 2024 with the launch of the solar generator robot Mars Bot, capable of charging devices autonomously.

This year, the company raised the bar, integrating even more sophisticated technologies focused on practicality.

The Solar Roof XBC tiles and the Explorer 5000 Plus, for example, demonstrate how it is possible to combine sustainability, efficiency and accessibility in modern energy solutions.

CES 2025 served as the perfect stage for Jackery to reinforce its position as an industry pioneer. With products ranging from home solutions to portable options for outdoor adventures, the brand is shaping the future of renewable energy.

Promising future for energy with new solar panel

In addition to the new releases, Jackery presented improvements to the panels Solar Saga 200 e 500 times, which now offer greater efficiency and portability.

These advancements serve consumers looking for reliable power in a more compact format.

In the case of solar tiles, the use of ultra-thin crystalline silicon and the 25% efficiency represent a milestone in the integration of renewable technologies with traditional architecture.

The Explorer 5000 Plus emerges as a robust and scalable solution, ideal for facing everyday energy challenges and emergencies.

Company Jackery is of the United States. Founded in 2012, Jackery is known for developing portable energy solutions, such as solar generators and portable batteries, and is one of the leading brands in the sustainable energy sector.

Although it is American, its products have a global reach and are widely used in outdoor activities and emergency situations.
