Open Positions in the Electrician School Program Aims to Train Professionals for the Electricity Sector in 12 Brazilian Cities.

The Electrician School Program, promoted by the Equatorial Group in partnership with Senai (National Service for Industrial Training), is accepting applications for its 2025 edition. With positions distributed across 12 Brazilian cities, the initiative offers free technical training for those who wish to enter the electricity distribution sector. Interested individuals can register until April 30, according to the announcement available online.

In total, there are 325 positions available at Senai units located in the cities of Santana (AP), Goiânia, Anápolis, Luziânia, and Quirinópolis (GO), Imperatriz (MA), Castanhal, and Parauapebas (PA), Teresina, Picos, and Bom Jesus (PI), and Porto Alegre (RS). The training lasts for four months and students receive monthly stipends to assist with their living expenses during the course.

Distribution of Positions

Santana (AP) – 50 positions;

Goiânia, Anápolis, Luziânia, Quirinópolis (GO) – 25 positions each;

Imperatriz (MA) – 25 positions;

Castanhal, Parauapebas (PA) – 25 positions each;

Teresina, Picos, Bom Jesus (PI) – 25 positions each;

Porto Alegre (RS) – 25 positions.

Requirements and Methodology of the Course

To participate in the selection process, it is necessary to have completed high school, permanent driver’s license in categories B or C, and a minimum age of 18 years.

The selection of candidates will be conducted through a structured process, without employment ties to the company.

The course has a total workload of 520 hours, with 112 hours dedicated to developing behavioral competencies such as logical reasoning, communication, interpersonal relationships, and career planning — pillars considered essential for professional performance in the electrical sector.

Technical Improvement and Employability

In this edition, the Electrician School Program will feature an expansion of the technical course offerings and a system for monitoring the employability of graduates, promoting better opportunities in the job market.

The goal is to train professionals prepared for the challenges of the sector and contribute to the integration into the job market, generating social and economic impact in the regions served.

Conceived by the Equatorial Group, the program is part of the E+ Professional platform, one of the company’s social responsibility frontiers. Since its inception, the Electrician School has already trained over 1,000 qualified professionals as Electrical Distribution Network Electricians.

With the partnership of Senai, the initiative reinforces its commitment to expanding access to quality technical training, promoting income generation, and professional inclusion on a large scale.
