Free educational project brings together experts and addresses digital risks, cyberbullying, and online citizenship for children and adolescents
Marista Brasil launched, on April 16, the podcast “Papo Marista”, aimed at raising awareness about the safe use of the internet. The content is available for free on Spotify and the Marist Schools’ YouTube channel. The main proposal is to guide families and young people in facing the challenges of the digital environment.
Data from the TIC Kids Online Brasil 2025 survey indicate that 92% of the population between 9 and 17 years old uses the internet, equivalent to about 24 million children and adolescents. This scenario reinforces the need to broaden the debate on digital security, conscious screen use, and protection in the online environment.

STRATEGY STRENGTHENS THE CARE NETWORK BETWEEN SCHOOL AND FAMILIES
The coordinator of the Integral Care area at Marista Brasil, Olavo Chicoski, emphasizes that the podcast serves as a training channel for families. The goal is to broaden the dialogue on digital education and integral care.
The responsibility for the formation of children and adolescents is shared among family, school, society, and the State. Each agent plays a complementary role in this process, which requires an understanding of current digital themes.
The content proposed by the podcast seeks to raise awareness about the challenges of the digital environment. The initiative reinforces safer and more guided practices in internet use.
SAFE CONNECTION CAMPAIGN EXPANDS THE INITIATIVE’S IMPACT
The podcast is part of the Safe Connection Campaign, promoted by Marista Brasil. The campaign adopts the motto “online safety starts with offline attitudes,” encouraging responsible behavior in the digital environment.
The actions developed promote digital citizenship and involve the school community. The project encourages practical reflections on the conscious use of technology.
The podcast expands the reach of these initiatives by offering accessible and well-founded content. The proposal strengthens the dissemination of reliable information for families and educators.
DIGITAL EDUCATION AS A FOUNDATION FOR INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT
The formation of children and adolescents occurs over a continuous journey. The educational process does not follow a single manual, which requires support from educational institutions.
The school environment contributes with structured knowledge and best practices. This support strengthens the care network and expands the guidance capacity of families.
The focus remains on integral development, ensuring that young people grow up with security, protection, and preparation for adult life.
MARISTA BRASIL EXPANDS EDUCATIONAL OPERATIONS IN THE COUNTRY
Marista Brasil is present in 20 Brazilian states, with about 100,000 students served in 97 educational units. The institution offers education based on values and academic excellence.
Students develop skills such as critical thinking and autonomy. The pedagogical approach keeps pace with social and technological transformations.
The expansion of internet use among young people requires consistent educational initiatives. Projects like “Papo Marista” reinforce the importance of digital guidance — how can families prepare for this constantly evolving scenario?
