5.2. Workload
5.2.1. The work hours for the Tutor (Virtual) are 20 hours per week, being:
- 10 (ten) in-person hours per week, to be fulfilled at CEAD/Unimontes – Building 7 – Darcy Ribeiro Campus, Montes Claros/MG, according to the schedule defined by the UAB General Coordination and the Course Coordinators of CEAD/Unimontes.
- The remaining hours in distance activities.
5.2.2.
- The in-person activities may also occur on Saturdays and Sundays, according to the course schedule, for participation in meetings, workshops, seminars, in-person exams, practical classes, and other specific activities.
Functions and Responsibilities of the Virtual Tutor
The virtual tutor plays a crucial role in mediating the teaching-learning process, serving as a link between the formative teachers, the students, and the structure of UAB/CEAD/Unimontes. Among their main duties are:
- Facilitating communication and interaction in the virtual learning environment, promoting a dynamic and collaborative space.
- Providing pedagogical support to students, clarifying doubts and guiding them in proposed activities.
- Monitoring the progress of students, identifying difficulties and proposing strategies for overcoming them.
- Collaborating with teachers in the design and implementation of didactic activities, ensuring the quality of the content offered.
- Participating in meetings and ongoing training promoted by UAB/CEAD/Unimontes, aiming for the continuous improvement of their pedagogical practices.
Selection Process: Stages and Evaluation Criteria
The selection process will be conducted in two simultaneous stages:
- Minimum Requirement Analysis: Eliminatory in nature, this stage checks if the candidate meets the basic requirements established in the notice, according to Table 1 of subitem 3.1.
- Curriculum Analysis: Classificatory and eliminatory in nature, this phase evaluates the candidate’s academic background and professional experiences, as detailed in item 6 and Annex I of the notice.
It is essential that candidates present all supporting documentation correctly and completely, as any inconsistencies may result in reclassification or elimination from the selection process.
