The sugarcane harvest begins next month. With the expectation of a good moment for the sector, companies in the field are opening job openings to recruit professionals living in the interior of São Paulo.
Last year, the mills reported that the number of hires, both in the agricultural and industrial sectors, had already increased by about 20%. This year, the expectation is that this number will be even higher.
Today, the mills with open positions are from the cities of Pitangueiras, Sertãozinho, Guaíra, and Colina. These companies expect to hire new employees over the course of this month of February and March, as mentioned, the start of the sugarcane harvest is getting closer.

These more than 1200 job openings are divided among two sugarcane groups. The first is Viralcool, which operates in the production of sugarcane, sugar, ethanol, electricity, and yeast. Today, the group has about 700 vacancies for its unit located in the city of Pitangueiras.
