The Cecierj Foundation, in partnership with renowned institutions such as UERJ, UFRRJ, and UNIRIO, is currently accepting applications for the free online extension course Special Education In The Perspective Of Inclusive Education, promoted through the Brazil Open University (UAB) program. This is an incredible opportunity for training public school teachers, with a total of 15,000 spots available!

With a total workload of 120 hours, the free course aims to train teachers to excel in inclusive pedagogical practices. Conducted online, activities include interactive modules, forums, case studies, and continuous assessments in the virtual learning environment (AVA).

Spots And Offering Locations

15,000 spots are offered for the free online course (EAD) exclusively for teachers in basic education from municipal, state, and federal networks in Rio de Janeiro. The spots will be distributed randomly among the participating institutions, which will also be responsible for issuing certificates.

Selection Process

The selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring equal opportunities. Applications exclude documents proving engagement in teaching in public schools. Additionally, it is necessary to have regular access to the internet and basic computer skills. There are no reserved spots for quotas.

Requirements For Participation

Teachers from public basic education in Rio de Janeiro can apply, with documentary proof of teaching activity (paycheck or signed declaration). It is necessary to have internet access and knowledge in navigation and the use of text editors.
