Safety Technician

Requirements:

Technical Degree in Safety – Safety Technician – (or high school diploma / GED with experience in Health and Environmental Safety);
Preferred – bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college;
Previous experience as a Safety Technician in other companies, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector and large industrial environments;
Safety Technician accreditation by TEM;
Intermediate English;
Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 – Preferred;
Previous experience serving Petrobras – Preferred.

Job Activities:

Identify and act on legal requirements for Occupational Safety and Environment applicable to the company’s activity;
Standardize safety procedures and administrative control of SMS through documentation; in addition to standardization in operational areas, control through risk analysis of tasks;
Monitor Occupational Safety and Environment indicators such as accidents, incidents, inspections, training, meetings, use of PPEs, among others relevant to the area.
