Safety technician
Requirements:
- Technical Degree in Safety – Safety Technician – (or high school diploma / GED with experience in Environmental Health and Safety);
- Desired – Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college;
- Previous experience as an Occupational Safety Technician in other companies, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector and large industrial environment;
- Safety Technician Accreditation by TEM;
- Intermediary English;
- Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 – Desirable;
- Previous experience working for Petrobras – Desirable.
Job Activities:
- Identify and act on the legal requirements for Occupational Safety and the Environment applicable to the company's activity;
- Standardize HSE security and administrative control procedures through documents; in addition to standardization in operational areas, control through task risk analysis;
- Monitor Occupational Safety and Environment indicators such as accidents, incidents, inspections, training, meetings, use of PPE, among others that are relevant to the area.
