New (Old) Volkswagen Amarok Will Feature Cutting-Edge Technology Updates, Such as a Digital Dashboard, Cruise Control, Automatic Braking, and More

Volkswagen is preparing to launch a new line of the Amarok, but with an interesting twist: the new pickup will have a “face” of the Saveiro. However, the novelty is more of a facelift than a new generation, as the Amarok has been in production since 2010, according to the Autopapo UOL website.

Although it is not a completely new generation, the Volkswagen Amarok is undergoing a modernization process. The mechanics will remain the same, but the pickup will receive technological updates, such as a digital dashboard, cruise control, collision alert with automatic braking, among other electronic features.

Despite the improvements, some questions arise regarding the competitiveness of the Amarok, Volkswagen’s pickup. With almost 14 years since its original launch, the pickup may face difficulties competing with newer models such as the Rampage and the Ranger.
