Caixa Econômica Federal Opens Internship Positions for the North and Northeast Regions of Brazil

On the morning of this Thursday (18), the president of Caixa Econômica Federal, Pedro Guimarães, announced: Caixa Econômica Federal has opened 4,938 positions (of which 1,162 are for internships) to hire employees and collaborators to strengthen the service network in the North and Northeast regions.

Caixa Econômica Federal reported that the hiring of 566 employees in the North and Northeast regions is already underway, due to the opening of new bank branches, along with 87 technicians in Information Technology (IT) who will work in the Federal District (DF).

Applications for Internship Positions in the North and Northeast Regions

Applications for internship positions offered by Caixa Econômica for the North and Northeast regions began on March 1 of this year and will run until March 16, 2021, through the CIEE website with no application fee.

Upon entering the site, the internship applicant should click on the “Students” access, then on “Selection Processes”, and finally on the Caixa logo.

To correctly fill out the registration, the internship applicant must provide the location where they wish to carry out their activities, as well as valid personal and educational data.

Prerequisites Established to Compete for Internship Positions in the North and Northeast Regions

Caixa Econômica Federal has established that those who can compete for internship positions in the North and Northeast regions are:

  • Students in Architecture and Urbanism and Engineering, at least in the 5th semester of higher education;
  • Law students, at least in the 5th semester and at most in the 9th semester of higher education;
  • High school or EJA students: from 1st to 3rd year, available to intern for at least 6 months;
  • Technical or integrated high school students: from the 1st to the penultimate semester of their courses, available to intern for at least 6 months.
