Information released by the media indicates that the notice should be published in a period between February 16 and March 10.
The contest, with all internal procedures already advanced, has its organization confirmed with the Cesgranrio Foundation, which will be responsible for conducting the selection process.

What Positions Will Be Opened in the Caixa Economica Federal Contest?
Representatives of the category demand an expansion of the job offers, as they believe that the offer of 4,050 opportunities will not meet staff needs, and at least 6,000 positions should be available.
The thousands of public contest vacancies already confirmed by Caixa are distributed as follows:
- Banking Technician – 2,000 positions;
- Occupational Safety Engineer – 22 positions;
- Information Technology Area – 2,000 positions;
- Occupational Physician – 28 positions.
In June 2023, it was established that the next notice will be published only for the filling of immediate vacancies, without the existence of a reserve list of personnel.
To compete for the banking technician position, it is necessary to have a complete high school education, with an initial salary of R$ 3,762. In the case of higher education, the initial salary for occupational physicians is R$ 11,186, and for safety engineers, R$ 14,915. According to the contract with the organizing bank, the fees will be as follows:
- High School – R$ 50
- Higher Education – R$ 60.

In addition to the last public contest from Caixa Economica Federal for general competition, for banking technicians, which began in 2014, a new selection was held in 2021 for the filling of 1,100 positions, targeted only at candidates with disabilities, with 1,000 for immediate filling and 100 for personnel reserve.
The opportunities at that time were for the positions of banking technician (for service in agencies across the 27 units of the Federation) and banking technician in the information technology area (stationed only in Brasília, Federal District).
The selection included objective and subjective tests. The objective part of the Caixa Economica Federal contest included 60 questions on the following subjects:
- Financial Mathematics;
- Specific Knowledge;
- Banking Knowledge;
- Portuguese Language.
It is noteworthy that Caixa Economica Federal is the largest public bank in Latin America. The institution was created by Decree No. 2,723, signed by D. Pedro II, which established Caixa Economica and Monte de Socorro.
