Night Job Openings at CIMED: Opportunities and Desired Profiles

Both are essential for the pharmaceutical routine, as they ensure that raw materials, packaging, and finished products meet safety standards.
The company, known for its strong results-oriented culture, is looking for qualified professionals with availability for different schedules.
Candidates need to have a solid technical education and, depending on the position, advanced knowledge in equipment and regulations in the sector.
Junior Quality Control Analyst: Requirements to Participate in the Process
The position for Junior Quality Control Analyst requires complete higher education in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related areas.
This level of education is essential, as the professional will deal directly with physical-chemical analyses and laboratory tests.
Additionally, technical knowledge in activities such as sample weighing, handling of analytical standards, and operation of low and medium complexity equipment is required.
CIMED also requests mastery of the Office Suite, proactivity, and availability for different schedules.
This position follows the shift from 3:10 PM to 12:36 AM, fitting entirely into the category of night job openings, which contributes to keeping the laboratory active for more hours and ensures agility in the production process.
Main Activities of the Junior Quality Control Analyst
The professional will be responsible for physical-chemical analyses of raw materials, products in process, and finished items.
Additionally, they should collect and analyze water, record results in the SAP system, and ensure that all stages are completed according to safety standards.
Among other functions, the analyst will:
Operate and sanitize equipment such as pH meters, titrators, viscometers, and densitometers.
Monitor calibrations, maintenance, and qualifications of instruments.
Prepare solutions and reagents used in laboratory analyses.
Verify analytical documentation and enter results into the system.
Manage stocks of analytical materials.
Since these tasks involve sensitive operations, they require continuous attention, reinforcing the need to maintain night job openings to avoid interrupting critical processes.
Analytical Laboratory Specialist
The opportunity for Analytical Laboratory Specialist — focused on toxicology — is directed to professionals with complete higher education and postgraduate degrees, such as a master’s or doctorate.
CIMED seeks candidates with a broad technical background, especially in areas such as mutagenic impurities, specific regulations, and toxicological analysis.
Knowledge in systems such as SAP, SoftExpertSuite, Empower, OpenLAB CDS, and mutagenicity assessment software used to interpret data and compile safety analyses is also required.
The schedule for this position is split between two shifts, both covering the night period: 3:10 PM to 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 12:36 AM, reinforcing the need for qualified professionals to work continuously during the night.
Responsibilities of the Specialist: Focus on Toxicological Safety
Whoever takes on this position will have direct responsibility for the toxicological safety of CIMED’s portfolio medications.
This involves determining impurity limits, preparing technical reports, and interpreting international guidelines such as ICH Q3A, Q3B, M7, and Q3C.
Among the activities of the position are:
Assessing elemental impurities, degradation products, and residual solvents.
Preparing reports based on bibliographic support.
Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Researching data in compendiums such as Brazilian, American, and British Pharmacopeias.
Operating analytical software that supports product development.
Additionally, the specialist should assist the department in audits and standardize critical procedures.
Selection Process for CIMED’s Night Job Openings
The night job openings at CIMED follow a structured selection process in eight stages.
The candidate goes through registration, behavioral evaluation, transparency agreement, screening, and interviews with HR and managers.
Only after these phases does hiring occur. In some cases, technical tests may also be applied to assess specific skills.
Work Location and Application Deadlines
The two positions will be exercised at CIMED Unit 1, in Pouso Alegre (MG), one of the most important production centers of the pharmaceutical company.
Applications are open until:
