This information was confirmed through an internal response to bank employees and released by the Qconcursos Folha Dirigida portal.

According to Banco do Brasil, the institution is focused on identifying the needs for labor allocation according to the business capacity of each region. Furthermore, the strategic and budget planning is being considered to define the feasibility of the new exam. Despite the progress in studies, there is still no defined timeline for the conclusion of this process.

Banco do Brasil maintains a unique entry career, that of clerk, who can act as a commercial agent (traditional clerk) or information technology (IT) agent. BB reported that it continuously monitors the progress of its exams and communicates any relevant news to the market. Currently, there is an ongoing exam with approximately 1,400 qualified candidates awaiting calling. The bank emphasized that the studies on attracting, allocating, and retaining talent are permanent agendas of People Management.
History of the Last Banco do Brasil Exam
The last Banco do Brasil exam held by BB in 2022 called more than 5 thousand approved candidates, including immediate vacancies and reserve lists. A total of 5,072 candidates were called. The vacancies were distributed among two professional profiles: commercial agent and technology agent. The Cesgranrio Foundation organized this selection, which is recognized for its tradition in BB exams.
Salaries and Benefits
The initial earnings for clerks in the last exam were R$5,436.03, including base salary, meal allowance, and food basket. In addition to attractive salaries, professionals receive various benefits, such as profit-sharing, health and dental plans, private pension, childcare assistance, and assistance for disabled children.
The validity period of the last Banco do Brasil exam ends in July of this year. The institution may still extend the selection for another year, which would allow for more calls. However, BB has already made all calls for the position of traditional clerk, leaving only approvals for the technology agent function. The decision on extension is still under review.
Evaluation and Training
The Banco do Brasil exam of 2022, organized by the Cesgranrio Foundation, included objective tests and an essay. Candidates were assessed with 70 questions in basic and specific knowledge, as well as a argumentative essay. The selection attracted 1.5 million candidates, highlighting its high competitiveness due to the attractive offerings from the bank.
