The INSS (National Institute of Social Security) contest is getting closer to realization. During a Committee meeting, the forecast for the launch of a new edital was confirmed, bringing hope to candidates nationwide. The information was released by the National Federation of Health Workers’ Unions, Labor, Social Security, and Social Assistance (Fenasps).

Calling of Approved Candidates and New Edital

According to the category, the INSS requested the calling of an additional 25% over the number of appointed in the current contest, which represents another 250 civil servants. Furthermore, the calling of the excess classified in the last competition is also planned. The INSS management also reported that a new public competition is scheduled for 2024.

Fenasps highlighted the importance of the INSS contest for strengthening the career. The agency urgently needs new hires, even after the last contest offered a thousand vacancies.

Unmet Request

One of the reasons justifying the need for new hires is that the last contest did not cover the social security analyst career at the higher education level. The INSS had requested 1,571 vacancies for this position, but these opportunities were not included in the authorized contest. The expectation is that these vacancies will be directed to the next edital.

Long Waiting List

The waiting list for service at the INSS is known for its length. The Minister of Social Security, Carlos Lupi, expressed his intention to eliminate this queue in record time. To achieve this, in addition to calling the excess candidates, the opening of a new edital for the position of Medical Expert is under consideration.

Awaiting Official Authorization
