During the press conference for the publication of the CNU notice, José Celso Cardoso Jr. stated that PRF, PF, and PPF can participate in the next edition of the competition. In fact, the Unified National Competition (CNU) is attracting attention and speculation, especially due to the possibility of including the Federal, Highway, and Penal Police. The Human Resources representative mentioned that, despite the absence of these institutions in the current notice, the study for priorities in the next cycle may open space for the participation of the Police.
Rumors and Projections for the Next Cycle of the Unified National Competition
José Celso emphasizes that, in the current process of studying priorities, the Police have a high probability of being included. The goal is to involve as many agencies as possible in the Unified National Competition, strengthening the initiative and enabling the participation of various important institutions.

Ricardo Capelli, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, highlights the importance of new competitions for the Federal Highway Police and Federal Police. He points out the need to reinforce the personnel operating at the Brazilian border, emphasizing, however, that fiscal challenges related to public accounts are essential considerations for conducting new competitions.

The Director-General of the Federal Police, Andrei Passos Rodrigues, also emphasizes not only the importance of the CNU but also the intention to expand the PF’s workforce. Passos informs about negotiations for the creation of 2,000 new positions and state delegations dedicated to firearm oversight.
