SEMED Nova Iguaçu Contest Offers Over 2,000 Positions

The long-awaited announcement for the SEMED Nova Iguaçu Contest, located in Rio de Janeiro, has been released. The Municipal Secretary of Education (Semed) offers a total of 2,738 permanent positions, including opportunities in the reserve list.

The positions cover different education levels, providing a diverse range of opportunities for interested candidates. With initial salaries of up to R$3,4 thousand, the contest promises to attract qualified candidates seeking a solid career in the educational field.

Applications will be available on the website of the renowned organization Consulplan, starting at 4 PM on January 10 until 4 PM on February 8. The application fee varies according to the position: R$42 for Complete Elementary Level, R$47 for High School/Technical and Regular High School, and R$48 for Higher Education.

Contest Stages: Tests and Title Evaluation

The Public Contest will consist of several rigorous stages. The first one consists of the Objective Written Test with Multiple Choice, qualifying and eliminatory for all positions. This stage will take place in the cities of Nova Iguaçu and Rio de Janeiro, both in the State of Rio de Janeiro, on March 10, 2024, and will last 4 hours.

The title evaluation, which is qualifying, will be applied exclusively to the positions of Higher Education and Regular High School. This phase can add up to 5.0 points, even if the sum of the values of the presented titles is higher. For the specific position of Libras Interpreter Professor, there will be a Practical Test stage, which is eliminatory.

The candidate will be considered approved if they achieve at least 50% of the points in the objective multiple-choice tests. This contest is an unmissable opportunity for aspiring candidates to deepen their knowledge and enter the educational career.
