Under development by Itaguaí, a shipbuilding company (ICN), the ships destined for the Navy's Submarine Development Program (PROSUB) are in their final stages
As far as we know, the Navy Submarines (PROSUB) of the Brazil's navy (MB), are already divided into 05 main sections, namely: S1, S2A, S2B, S3 and S. Furthermore, the special highlight of today's information will only be destined to sections S1 and S2A.

Shipbuilding - submarine PROSUB characteristics of section S1
Briefly, the S1 section is located at the end of the submarine. It is exactly what will give the direction and depth limit stabilized along the navigations on the bottom of the sea. Undoubtedly a modern shipbuilding strategy.

In this section of the Submarine PROSUB under development by Itaguaí are located the diesel compartments and 04 other engines that serve as a kind of battery charger.
Finally, in 2019, there were also advances involving shipbuilding in PROSUB. With the completion of the acceptance tests on the pier and the successful static immersion, which marked the beginning of the acceptance tests at sea for the Submarine “Riachuelo”. Undeniably, the first of the four vehicles with diesel-electric propulsion foreseen in the mentioned Program. Brazilian shipbuilding has invested billions.
About the Navy Submarine Development Program (PROSUB)
In short, the Submarine Development Program (Prosub) of the Brazilian Navy is the result of a technology transfer agreement with the French company Naval Group (formerly DCNS). Signed in 2008 by Brazil and France, which will enable the production of four Scorpène class conventional submarines. It will also help manufacture the first Brazilian submarine with nuclear propulsion (SN-BR).
