ProbablyMonsters confirms the release dates of its next two original games and presents proposals that combine dark fantasy, strategic action, and cinematic narrative.
ProbablyMonsters has confirmed the release windows for its next two projects presented during the Summer Game Fest Play Days. The announcement positions Crimson Moon for September 2026 and establishes early 2027 as the debut period for Nekome: Nazi Hunter.
The two titles follow completely different paths. However, the company’s strategy remains the same: to develop AA experiences with production quality close to major AAA projects, combining refined artistic direction, immersive settings, and carefully planned combat systems.
Information released by the developer itself during the event held in June 2026 shows that both games can already be added to wishlists on digital platforms.

Crimson Moon bets on gothic fantasy, angelic powers, and cooperation
Crimson Moon transports players to a dark fantasy universe inspired by the High Renaissance. The adventure places the user in the role of a warrior capable of using the angelic powers of the Nephilim to face monstrous creatures.
The main objective of the campaign is to defend the besieged city of Gildenarch, the central setting of the narrative developed by ProbablyMonsters.
Recent material released by the company presented part of the available arsenal, as well as armor, special abilities, and different classes of enemies present throughout the journey.

Combat system seeks depth and high replayability
The combat was designed to combine precision, constant character evolution, and a wide variety of challenges.
Missions structured to encourage new playthroughs appear as one of the pillars of the experience. The proposal aims to offer consistent progression without compromising the fluidity of the action.
Cooperative mode for two players is also part of the project. Special synergies between characters will be unlocked during matches, expanding strategic possibilities and strengthening combat dynamics.
David Lesperance, general manager and project director, explained that the inspiration for Crimson Moon was born from the combination of classic fantasy, gothic horror, and metal music.
The campaign was designed to work both in individual experiences and in cooperative sessions.
Nekome: Nazi Hunter takes players on a mission of revenge during World War II
Nekome: Nazi Hunter follows a completely different proposal from that presented in Crimson Moon.
The game takes the form of a single-player action adventure set during World War II. Visual elements inspired by grindhouse cinema help define the production’s identity.
Vano Nastasu is the protagonist of the story. His journey begins after the death of his family at the hands of a Nazi group known as Hitler’s Hyenas.
The narrative takes players from New York to occupied territories in Europe in the year 1941.
Hostile areas will need to be explored carefully. Attacks will require constant planning. Confrontations will alternate between stealth and melee combat.

Cinematic narrative and strategic confrontations
More calculated combats appear as one of the central elements of gameplay.
Cinematic narrative also occupies a prominent position in the project. The proposal seeks to build an experience focused on tension, progression, and decision-making.
Jeronimo Barrera, a veteran of the gaming industry, leads the development alongside an experienced team and co-development partners.

Crimson Moon will be released for:
- PC (Steam and Epic Games Store)

What the two projects represent for ProbablyMonsters
Crimson Moon and Nekome: Nazi Hunter represent the first major wave of original intellectual properties from ProbablyMonsters.
Diversity of genres emerges as one of the main signs of the company’s strategy for the coming years. Gothic fantasy, cooperation, horror, historical action, and cinematic narrative are part of this expansion plan.
Releases scheduled between September 2026 and early 2027 demonstrate the developer’s intention to consolidate its presence in the market with productions of intermediate scope and high technical ambition.
