The State University of Health Sciences of Alagoas (UNCISAL) announced, through Notice UAB/CED/PROPEP/UNCISAL No. 006/2024, the opening of the selection process for free specialization courses in the online modality (EAD). There are 600 vacancies distributed across four postgraduate courses, offering advanced opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
Course objectives and workload
The free specialization courses aim to train professionals with specific knowledge in their areas of expertise, with a focus on practical and updated training. Classes will be held in the distance learning format, but will include mandatory in-person activities, held on Saturdays, both at the UNCISAL headquarters building and at designated centers. The total workload and complementary activities, such as forums, seminars and assessments, will be planned throughout the course.

In total, 600 places are offered, distributed equally between the following courses:
- With the shortage of qualified professionals in the Transportation sector, SEST SENAT offers places on free, 100% online courses with a free certificate for professionals working in this sector.
- Free health courses: Ministry of Health and SUS offer online training (EAD) on phytotherapy, music therapy and floral remedies
- FGV offers 216 free online courses (EAD) in various areas of knowledge with flexible training and a certificate of participation
- SENAC offers free technical training courses in the most promising areas of the market, such as aesthetics, nursing and more
- Digital Culture and Computational Thinking for Basic Education Teachers (150 vacancies)
- Management of Public Health Systems and Services (150 vacancies)
- Information Security and Forensic Analysis (150 vacancies)
- Management of Healthcare-Related Infection Control and Patient Safety (150 vacancies)
The courses will be held online, but with support from in-person support centers as needed.
Selection processes
The selection will be made based on the overall average of the undergraduate academic record. Candidates must inform their media at the time of registration, and the Organizing Committee will validate the data presented. There will be a reservation of places for affirmative actions, respecting the established legal criteria.
Application requirements
Candidates who have already completed higher education or who can prove that they have completed it by the end of the registration period may participate in the selection process. In addition, regular internet access, a computer suitable for online activities, and the correct submission of relevant documentation in PDF format are required.
