The Brazil is about to live a historical milestone with the arrival of a theme park entirely inspired by the magic of Disney, occupying 78,000 m² of Barigui Park. For the first time, the country will host an official Christmas event from the North American entertainment giant, symbolizing a change in the national tourist and cultural calendar. The information was released by the Curitiba City Hall, which confirmed the debut of the mega-event from December 5 to 23.
As the city transforms into a stage of lights, projections, and experiences, the audience will find not only unprecedented structures but also a giant Mickey Mouse of 6 meters, interactive scenarios, and an atmosphere designed to transport visitors into the Disney universe. Although the center of action is in Barigui Park, the initiative has national tourist potential, as families from all over Brazil prepare to experience this unique moment.
The Disney+ Open Air Will Be One of the Most Contested Attractions

According to a report published by the Curitiba City Hall, one of the most anticipated experiences is the Disney+ Open Air, which will offer free screenings of classic movies outdoors throughout the event. Each screening will last 60 minutes and will be held daily at 9:30 AM, 3 PM, and 7 PM at the lake peninsula, near the main pavilion.

According to information released by the Curitiba City Hall, the goal is to completely transform the environment of Barigui Park, creating a complete visual path that combines soundtracks, choreographed lights, and Instagrammable spaces. Meanwhile, the whole city embraces the Christmas spirit, as the Curitiba Christmas program began on November 24 and will continue until January 6, 2026.
Live Show Will Bring Together Over 30 Artists in Exclusive Performances
Another essential attraction of the event will be the live show created exclusively for the Brazilian audience. There will be over 30 artists on stage, with an original soundtrack, unprecedented costumes, special effects, and classic Disney characters. The performances will take place between December 16 and 23, at 4 PM and 8 PM, with extra sessions at 11 AM from December 19 to 23.
Although all tickets are already sold out, expectations remain high, and the audience will be able to follow highlights and records on the event’s official social media. This is a large-scale production that involves choreography, lighting effects, and a script designed to touch visitors of all ages.
