But the major highlight is the bridge. Initially, it was announced that it would be 400 meters long, but according to the latest updates, the bridge will be an impressive 489 meters!
This structure will be the largest ever built in the region and is expected to become a true postcard, in addition to significantly contributing to local infrastructure.
Million-Dollar Cost
The total cost of the new road is estimated at around R$ 60 million, with R$ 44 million being allocated exclusively for the construction of the bridge over the Araquari River.
This significant amount will be covered by a combination of municipal, state, and federal resources.
The city hall of Araquari has already declared that this will be the most important project for the city in the coming years, and is counting on funding through parliamentary amendments to ensure the financing of the work.
