Increase of Resources and Applied Funds
‘Rio Grande do Norte is the state where we concentrate the highest volume of our production in the Northeast’, emphasized Oddone, ‘our goal is to identify mechanisms for investments that enable Brava to increase its investments, thus increasing production to boost jobs, income, and revenue for the state and municipalities’. Fátima Bezerra also explained that she is working to expand the number of Idema employees responsible for licensing by conducting public competitions. Jonielson Oliveira, Idema’s technical director, mentioned that the agency is adopting measures to expedite processes, even operating on weekends, to facilitate Brava’s expansion in the state.
Infrastructure and Regional Development
During the meeting, the partnership between state and municipal management in making investments in infrastructure and social projects was discussed. A successful example was the collaboration with 3R Petroleum, resulting in the reconstruction of 12 kilometers of RN-401. This road is essential for the logistics of the economy in the region. It connects important Brava facilities acquired from Petrobras, including the Clara Camarão refinery in the municipality of Guamaré. Approximately 100 trucks travel this route daily, transporting products such as gasoline, diesel oil, and gas cylinders. ‘With the recent renovation, the highway has reached a new level of quality and safety. It is not just a facilitator for the flow of production from the petrochemical hub but also an incentive for tourism and regional development’, highlighted Fátima Bezerra.
Strategic Partnerships and Logistics
During the meeting, Fátima Bezerra was accompanied by state secretaries, such as Adriano Gadelha (Institutional Relations), Carlos Eduardo Xavier (Finance), Paulo Varela (Environment and Water Resources), and Marina Melo, president of Potigás. The presence of these prominent government members reinforced the commitment to the expansion of Brava’s operations in the state, promoting investments that result in the sustainable growth of the local economy. The partnership between state and municipal management continues strong, ready to face challenges and explore the full potential of the oil and gas sector, expanding job opportunities and the efficient use of the state’s natural resources.
