Construction of 7.2 m Wooden Tiny House for Vacation and Travel Use Is Successful in America for Its Compact Solution with a Bright Interior That Catches Attention for Comfort in a Small Space.
A wooden tiny house measuring 7.2 m in length may seem too small to function well on a daily basis. However, a recent project in Romania focused on well-planned basics and delivered an interior that surprises with its sense of space.
The proposal caters to two direct uses: frequent travel or maintaining a vacation home ready to receive guests. For this, the design prioritizes easy circulation, plenty of light, and defined environments without excessive divisions.
The first impact comes from the brightness. A large number of windows and double glass doors change the internal atmosphere and make everything appear larger than the 7.2 m suggests.

Romania Gained Attention Through Its Wooden Tiny House That Stands Out for Its Unique Size
The Eco Tiny House from Romania developed a compact tiny house with engineered wood finishes and a metal roof. The goal was to create a simple, practical model that feels like a complete home, even in reduced dimensions.
With a length of 7.2 m, it is considered small for this type of construction. Nevertheless, the project does not attempt to “fill” the space with items. The choice is to organize the essentials efficiently, so the house functions comfortably.
The most striking feature is how the interior avoids the hallway sensation. The open floor plan and the entry of light through the large openings help create an environment that feels larger.
It Is a ‘Two-Axis Trailer and a Semi-Permanent Installation Option’
The house was built inspired by a two-axis trailer, which aligns with the idea of regular travel. This type of base provides mobility and allows moving the house to different locations, within the transport limits.
At the same time, the model can also be installed semi-permanently. In this configuration, an element that changes the experience comes in: an external deck that extends the usable area and creates an outdoor living space.
And there is an extra feature that is not obvious for such a compact house. The shown external area even includes a small jacuzzi, emphasizing the focus on holidays and rest, not just on “fitting the minimum.”
House Plan with a Single Floor and the Trick of Dispensing with a Dedicated Living Room
The layout is organized on a single floor, with internal wood finishes. The house feels bright and airy, thanks to the large number of windows and the double glass doors that increase natural light and make the space feel more open.
Here comes a choice that explains the efficient use of space. The house does not have a dedicated living room. Instead, the bedroom area also serves as a living space.
This type of decision reduces divisions and avoids wasting square footage. In a tiny house, every meter counts. When the project cuts what would be a separate room, there is more space for the kitchen and circulation.
Bedroom Transforms into Living Area, with Storage and Improvised Cinema

The bedroom functions as the main point of the house. It includes a double bed installed over a storage area, which helps keep items organized without occupying the floor with larger furniture.
There is more storage next to the bed, maintaining the logic of utilizing corners and volumes. For relaxing moments, the house also includes a projector mounted above the bed.
When it’s time to watch a movie, a screen can be pulled down to cover one of the windows. It’s a simple solution but fits well with vacation use and adds a touch of comfort without requiring extra space just for entertainment.
Central Kitchen with Induction, Dishwasher, and Table for 2 People
The kitchen occupies the center of the house and is quite spacious for the overall size. The layout favors daily use and positions the preparation area as the hub of the interior.
It comes equipped with an induction cooktop, sink, dishwasher, and cabinets. Additionally, there is space to include other appliances as needed.
Within the kitchen itself, there is a table for two people. It serves for meals but can also double as a workspace, which makes sense in a vacation home used for longer periods.
Compact But Complete Bathroom with Sink, Shower, and Toilet
On the opposite side of the bedroom is the bathroom. It is compact but does not compromise on basic functionality for comfortable use.
The space includes a sink with a cabinet, a shower, and a toilet with a flush. In small projects, this trio defines whether the house truly functions or just becomes an improvised shelter.
The separation of the bathroom at the far end from the bedroom and the central kitchen helps keep the interior organized. This arrangement reinforces the feeling that the space is larger than it appears.
Measurements, Scale Comparison, and Price of the Model Home on the Market
The length of 7.2 m is noted as close to the average for European models but much smaller than some compact homes in North America. There are examples there that reach up to 15.85 m, more than double the scale.
Even with reduced dimensions, the project delivers a combination of natural light, equipped kitchen, and storage solutions, along with the possibility of an external area with deck and jacuzzi in a semi-permanent installation.
The model is for sale starting at €78,490, around US$93,500, plus taxes. In reais, this amounts to an average of R$ 480,000.
