IFMG Opens Applications for Public Call with Remuneration for Item Development

Public Call Offers Compensation for Created Items and Bank Activities. Applications Close on May 23!

The Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG) has opened a public call to select employees who will create and review items for the 2026/1 Selection Process exams. The initiative, as outlined in the notice nº 501/2025, aims to ensure greater quality and fairness in the production of tests for admission to the institution’s technical courses, according to the IFMG website.

Applications Until May 23

Interested parties must apply exclusively through an electronic form and attach all required supporting documentation. Only permanent employees of IFMG may apply, in the roles of:

  • Teacher
  • Pedagogue
  • Technical Educational Issues Specialist

In addition, it is necessary to meet the following criteria:

  • Not having a spouse, partner, or relatives up to the 3rd degree registered in the 2026/1 Selection Process;
  • Not participating in the Partiu IF Program or in preparatory courses at IFMG in 2025;
  • Holding a bachelor’s degree in fields such as Language, Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Philosophy, or Sociology.

Compensation Per Task

The work will be compensated according to the table of Compensation for Course and Contest Load (GECC), as per the current ordinance at the time of payment. Below are the main values:

  • Item Creation: 3 hours per item or essay topic
  • Critical Analysis of Items: 1 hour per evaluated item
  • Appeal Judgment: 1 hour per item, for each committee member
  • Committee Presidency: 10 hours after appeal analysis
