Vale, one of the largest mining companies in the world, has job openings for the position of Equipment and Facilities Operator I at the S11D complex, located in Canaã dos Carajás, Pará.

The selection process, which will take place from September 12 to 18, 2025, offers 10 preferential openings for women and seeks professionals with a complete high school education and a driver’s license in category C or D. Requirements and Desired Profile for Operator

To apply for the positions, candidates must have completed high school and hold a National Driver’s License (CNH) C or D.

Desired requirements include:

Previous experience with mobile mining equipment;

Experience in open-pit mining.

The role requires responsibility in operating tractors, excavators, graders, front loaders, and off-road vehicles, always following safety, quality, and environmental standards.

In addition, the operator must input information into the electronic dispatch system, meet production goals, and take care of the equipment.

Working Conditions and Location

The positions are for work in Canaã dos Carajás, at the S11D unit, considered the largest open-pit iron ore mine in the world.

The work schedule is a 3×3 shift, during daytime and nighttime, and the contract is for an indefinite period.
